Hey girls,
So it is official, I am totally hooked on red lipsticks. I had made the transition from wearing mostly nude lips to coral lips over the winter season. Then I fell into the trend of hot pink lips when I saw it all over the magazines as a MUST for Spring, but I only wear here and there. Two weeks ago I went to MAC and I had all the intention of getting pink toned lipstick, but for some odd reason I also tried a red color. After trying on about 5 different shades of pink, I gave the red one a try and to surprise the makeup artist that was helping me told me that color was the best one out of all the colors I had tried. I was so shocked that I too had liked the color, but was not yet sure if I would really wear it. I was not totally convinced until my mother-in-law, who was with me turned to me and said, “I personally think that every women should have red lips, it is just beautiful”. That did it for me and ever since I got my Russian Red I seem to want to wear it everyday, I am totally in love with it. I guess mothers-in-law knows best, haha!

Agora é oficial, eu estou viciada em batom vermelho. Eu fui mudando do nude para o coral durante o inverno. Daí eu segui a tendência usando batom pink depois que vi em todas as revistas que era um MUST na primavera, mas eu usava só de vez em quando. Há duas semanas eu fui até a MAC com a intenção de comprar um batom rosado, mas por alguma razão eu provei o vermelho. Depois de provar 5 diferentes tons de pink, eu provei o vermelho e para a minha surpresa a maquiadora que estava me ajudando disse que era o que tinha ficado melhor. Eu fiquei chocada porque também tinha gostado da cor, mas eu ainda não tinha certeza se eu usaria. E eu não estava convencida até que a minha sogra me disse: "eu acho que toda mulher deveria ter os lábios vermelhos, é tão lindo". Isso me convenceu e eu desde que eu comprei o batom Russian Red eu tenho usado todos os dias, e eu estou totalmente apaixonada por ele. Acho que sogras têm sempre razão, haha!
