Comfortable Shopping Day in Dubai - Dia de Compras em Dubai

Here is the outfit I wore on my first day in Dubai.  I ask that you please excuse my very tired and swollen looking face.  We had arrived the night before at around 9:00 pm and the flight there was almost 15 hours from Atlanta, Georgia.  I live in south Florida so there was also the flight from Miami to Georgia.  On the 15 hours flight, I only slept 1 hour (I have a really hard time sleeping on flights) and by the time I went to bed at the hotel it was already midnight.  Due to the difference in the hours, I was wide awake at 4:00 am, so basically on my first day I was running on only four hours of sleep.  Anyways, back to the look.  Since Dubai is a Muslim state, I packed clothes that covered more.  I chose to wear pants and a long sleeve blouse the first day to go the Mall of the Emirates.  I wanted to play it safe the first day.  At the mall I was able to observe what other women were wearing and get a feeling for what was ok and not ok to wear during the rest of the trip.  On a typical day, I would have paired this outfit with high heels shoes, but since I was going to be doing a lot of walking, comfortable flats were the way to go.  I added this green cross(crosses are BIG now) necklace for a touch of color to the outfit, I love leopard print with green or pink, to me it just works!!!

Aqui está o look que usei no primeiro dia em Dubai. Eu tenho que pedir desculpas pelo meu olhar cansado e inchado. Nós tínhamos chegado em Dubai na noite anterior por volta das 9 horas da noite e o vôo foi umas 15 horas de Atlanta, Georgia até Dubai. Eu moro no sul da Flórida, então fiz outro vôo de Miami para Georgia. Só dormi uma hora (eu mal consigo dormir em vôos) e até eu ir chegar na cama do hotel já era quase meia-noite. Por causa do fuso horário, eu acordei as 4 horas da manhã, então basicamente no primeiro dia eu só dormi 4 horas. Bom, de volta pro look, Dubai é um estado mulçumano, eu coloquei nas malas roupas que me cobriam mais. Eu decidi usar calças e camisa comprida no primeiro dia par air até o Mall of the Emirates. No shopping, eu fiquei de olho no que outras mulheres estavam vestindo, pra saber o que eu podia ou não usar durante o resto da viagem. Num dia normal, eu usaria esse look com salto alto, mas já que eu ia andar bastante, eu escolhi sapatilhas que são mais confortáveis. Eu usei um colar de cruz verde (cruz está com tudo) para adicionar um pouco de cor, eu amo estampas leopardo com verde ou pink, pra mim funciona!!!

There is a ski resort in the mall, you can ski, snow board or go tubing in an in-door facility that feels like you are in a real mountain, AMAZING!!
Tem uma estação de ski dentro do shopping, você pode esquiar, fazer snowboard ou tubing na neve dentro do shopping e parece que é dentro da montanha, MARAVILHOSO!!
