A good tip for Mother's Day is to take them to eat at Saito’s. At this restaurant they have hibachi, which is not very well known in Brasil yet, to tell you the truth, I was not even very familiar with this until I moved here to the United States and I come from a Japonese family.
Hibachi is the name used for teppanyaki (this is how they call it in Japan), it is a Japonese style of cooking in which an iron hot plate (teppan) is used to cook the food. The chef cooks in front of the customers and he will do some cooking performances, such as lighting a volcano-shaped stack of onions on fire, flying vegetables, it is really a spectacle! It is very worthwhile to try a restaurant like this, especially on Mother's Day!

Uma boa dica para o Dia das Mães é levá-la ao restaurante Saito’s. Nesse restaurante, eles têm o “hibachi”, que ainda não é muito conhecido no Brasil e para falar a verdade nem eu que venho de família japonesa conhecia até chegar aqui nos Estados Unidos.
Na verdade, nome hibachi é usado no lugar do teppanyaki (como é conhecido no Japão), que nada mais é que um estilo da cozinha japonesa no qual o chef realiza uma performance ao preparar a comida numa chapa de metal (teppan), com direito à vulcão em erupção feito com cebola, vegetais voadores, um espetáculo! Vale muito a pena visitar um restaurante desses, principalmente no Dia das Mães!! Dani ;)
