Hey girlies,
I made this recipe a few months ago (on New Years Day, actually) and loved it so much that I decided to share it with you. I have made it one other time since then and it was as delicious as the first time. I actually got the recipe from an Instafriend (friend on Instagram), that posted it a picture of it and I couldn't help, but ask her for the recipe. She was nice enough to share it with me, thanks Carol!! The recipe is super easy and fast to make. If you like shrimp and brie, you must try this, let's go??!!!
Ingredients: 1 lbs. of fresh large shrimp (serves 2 people well)
1-2 limes
4-6 basil leaves
4 fresh oregano leaves
small bunch of Italian parsley
garlic to taste
1/2 cup of milk
1 brie cheese (7 oz)
very tiny piece of jalapeño (optional, just for some taste)
Directions: Clean the shrimp and wash it in cold water. Place shrimp in a bowl, squeeze lime juice over them and reserve. While shrimp is sitting in lime juice, make the seasoning for them. Chop and mince the jalapeño, garlic, oregano, parsley and basil together. Drain the lime juice, season shrimp with a bit of salt and add the minced seasoning, reserve. To make the brie cheese sauce, remove the rind from the cheese, cut brie into some pieces. Place a cooking pan over low heat with the pieces of brie cheese, add milk slowly and stir mixture consistently until sauce thickens. Remove sauce from heat and reserve. Then all you have to do is grill the shrimp on a skillet or in a very hot frying pan with just a drop of olive oil. Grill the shrimp for about 4 minutes on each side. Once shrimps are done, place on a plate and pour brie cheese sauce on them. I served them with a serving of rice. Super easy right??
Bon appetite !!!

alho a gosto
alho a gosto
Retire o molho do fogo e reserve.
Bon appetite !!!
